The project was conceptualized by <a href=\"https:\/\/mica-cabildo.com\">Mica Cabildo<\/a> based on research conducted during a residency at Gasworks London in 2020. Mica created 3D environments and videos based on her earlier studies for Whitehead\u2019s Ark, and together with project manager Tof Zapanta, met virtually several times with Philippine Eagle Foundation and Bagobo-Tagabawa indigenous partners. Illustrator and painter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behance.net\/tofzapanta\">Tof Zapanta<\/a> designed the project\u2019s brand identity and rendered his own contemporary illustrated visions of Whitehead\u2019s birds. <a href=\"https:\/\/artblox.asia\/\">Artblox Asia<\/a> modeled the birds, flora and landscapes, realized the expansive web VR experience, and built the website. The soundscape of Whitehead\u2019s Ark was designed by Peavey Nicolas of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itsabigbaby.com\/\">Big Baby Studios.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whitehead\u2019s Ark virtual reality web experience was created by several international artists, designers and musicians.
